Norwegian Church Arts Centre

A striking landmark building, the Norwegian Church Arts Centre is a great venue for meetings, private parties and concerts. The building was formerly a church for Norwegian sailors. Famous children’s author Roald Dahl was baptised there, and became the first appointed President of the Norwegian Church Preservation Trust in the 1980s.

Today the centre houses the Dahl Gallery for local and touring exhibitions; Grieg room for hosting conferences and events; and Norsk, a fully-licensed café bar.
