The baycar (service 6) operates a frequent, fast and direct service between the city centre and Cardiff Bay seven days a week.
Main city centre bus stops include Queen Street Station, Westgate Street, St Mary Street (Wyndham Arcade) and the rear of Central Rail Station. Services 7 and 8 also run from Cardiff city centre to Cardiff Bay.
For the International Sports Village (ISV), take service 7, which runs between the city centre, the Bay and the ISV from Monday to Saturday. Hop on board from bus stop JF on Canal Street. Service 9 travels between the city centre and the ISV seven days a week from bus stop KF on Westgate Street.
To get to Cardiff Bay by car, follow signs for Cardiff Bay.
From outside of Cardiff you can reach the Bay from the M4 motorway.
If approaching from the west, leave the M4 at Junction 33 and follow the A4232.
From the east, leave the M4 at Junction 29 and take the 3rd exit off the A48.
