Take a break from the everyday and recharge your batteries on a Flat Holm island getaway.
The essence of this retreat is to release from our day-to-day lives and routines, and take time out to explore and connect with nature.
You are invited to participate in some movement modalities such as yoga, Qigong, and Freedom dance. You can also try out some mindful practices that involve connecting with our inner knowledge, sound meditation, journaling and breathwork.
We will explore the island and enjoy as many activities outside as the weather permits. You will learn new techniques and skills to enhance your wellbeing within a supportive and relaxing tutored, small-group setting, while meeting new friends and having fun along the way.
The weekend is suitable for beginners or those with previous experience as all practices can be modified to suit different levels of experience. You just need yourself, an open mind, and the will to try something new.

- Tuition/activities run by experienced tutors or our island staff
Any surplus income goes back into the upkeep of the island’s natural and built heritage.

This is a sample programme based on last year’s successful retreats however Kerry will be responsive to the wishes and needs of the group and timings and activities may vary – there will be plenty of time for spontaneity and relaxation!

Leader details
Kerry Sanson
Kerry has spent 23 years as a healer and 13 years as a group fitness leader and personal training coach. She is the retreat co-ordinator at The Dreaming Retreat and also runs regular workshops and classes around South Wales. Kerry is the author of “The Book of Health Hacks”.
