Winter work on the Wetlands

Maintenance work will be starting on the Cardiff Bay Wetland Reserve on Monday 28 January to clear vegetation from the ponds and ditches, in order to restore and protect this important natural habitat.
This task is undertaken during the winter months to minimise disturbance to wildlife. The work will be carried out by an experienced contractor, supervised by Cardiff Council’s Parks Services Woodland Ranger team, and will be completed in time for the spring nesting season.
