On or about
Wednesday 26th March 2008, for approximately 2 weeks, a small
dredger will be operating on the Penarth side of the River Ely,
Cardiff Bay. The dredger will be operating in an area opposite the
Old Coal Jetty downstream of Cambrian Marina as far as a position
opposite the first slipway at Cardiff Bay Yacht.
The dredger will display lights and shapes in accordance with the
International Regulations for the Prevention of Collisions at Sea
and will maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 16, 18.
Mariners should navigate with caution in this area and keep clear of
the dredging operations.
