The Cardiff Harbour Authority Water Safety Code is designed to promote
safety in the Bay and its Rivers. We want you to enjoy your
experience around the waters edge, so please follow the Water
Safety Code.
The main principles to follow are:
No swimming in the bay or rivers (due to its depth and currents).
If you see anyone in difficulty, dial 999 and ask for the
Emergency Services.
Report vandalism to the police
Do not throw rubbish or stones in the river
Always wear boots or shoes on the riverbanks and on the foreshore
