EXHIBITIONS AT THE VISITOR CENTRE
NEW - SUSTAINABILITY EXHIBITION

Did you know that the average Cardiff citizen uses three times their share of the world's resources?

This new exhibition asks the question 'how do we develop sustainably?' whilst maintaining a good quality lifestyle in our city.

Learn about where our rubbish and recycling goes in Cardiff, calculate your carbon footprint, or make a pledge by posting it into the tree.

Discover what Cardiff Harbour Authority has been doing this decade to promote sustainability in Cardiff Bay, as a beautiful leisure setting to be enjoyed by generations to come.

CURRENT...CARDIFF BAYWATCH
'Baywatch' is a science based exploration of Cardiff Bay.  As you know science is about finding answers to questions.  The existence of this exciting new, aquatic environment poses interesting questions on all sorts of levels.

This exhibition aimed primarily at Key Stages 2 and 3, but of interest to the general public seeks to highlight some of these facts and questions, provide some answers and stimulate curiosity to give rise to more questions - good science!

CURRENT...FLAT HOLM

The Harbour Authority has opened a Flat Holm exhibition at the Visitor Centre. This interactive exhibition defines the essence of Flat Holm Island, looking at three main areas - Tranquillity, Exploration and Learning.

PREVIOUS...WORLD WAR II
This educational exhibition, aimed at Key Stages 3 and 4, features a selection of the major developments and conflicts that occurred during World War II, between 1939 and 1945.

It also details, through photographs, stories and exhibits, what life was like during the war with particular reference to Cardiff Bay and the City. This will give a valuable insight into this key conflict in terms of both life in the armed forces and on the home front.

PREVIOUS...WATER SAFETY
The Cardiff Harbour Authority Water Safety Code is designed to illustrate and promote safety in the Bay and its Rivers.  The Code’s principal aim is to prevent accidents in the Bay and along the riverbanks.

For more information about 'Water Safety' - Click Here

We want you to enjoy your experience of the Bay and its rivers, so please treat them with respect and follow the Water Safety Code.  This way you will be able to have fun while staying safe.
