The control of pests within the areas for which Cardiff Harbour Authority is responsible is undertaken by the Pest Control Service which is part of the Pollution Control Division within Cardiff County Council’s Regulatory Services Environment and Public Protection Section.

The services provided include the control of rodents using approximately 200 baitment boxes (containing the poison Contrak) around the Bay edges.
